Uploading an old sketch.

It always used to fascinate me growing up how boys would insist on putting on a brave face when physically or emotionally hurt. If things got too much, they’d find a quiet place to recover until strong enough to face his friends again. I was so used to running off to my parents at even the slightest scratch that I couldn’t understand why they would avoid human comfort like that. I guess this whole ‘courageous’ facade makes more sense to me now I’m older.

If anyone hasn’t seen the film War of the Buttons, I highly suggest you give it a look.

quick Knolian sketch to get me back into the groove of drawing after being in Ireland the past 5 days. To all those awaiting commissions, I’ll be finishing them off this week. 

Heya guys

So I’ve opened up commissions simply because I’m in a rather dire financial crisis at the moment and am hoping to sell a little artwork to hopefully build a bit of cash up. I know- it’s the typical artist situation. Unfortunately drawing is just about all I’m good at so there aren’t many other options I have available until I can find some full-time employment. I really do detest selling my work on the cheap like this but a lot of my watchers and followers aren’t old enough to be throwing out heaps of cash in my direction, so whatever you can afford would be brilliant. 

I only use paypal, unfortunately. I also insist that the money is paid before I begin working on the artwork- I’ll keep everyone up to date with a list of clients and their statuses. Just send me a message, note, or email if you’re interested.

So I’ve actually been in Switzerland the last month and a bit, hence the lack of updates. However, I’ve just discovered that the people I live with have a decent scanner, so hopefully I can update with some pencil drawings from time to time!

I’ve always played with the idea of modernising Tintin. I imagined he would be pretty tech-savvy whereas Haddock would be a total traditionalist and pretty much terrified of anything more advanced than a telephone.

Not gonna beat around the bush here, this actually happened to me. Let’s just say after respawn they shot at me for about 10 minutes, followed by locking me out of the safe room as a tank showed up.
